The Brooklyn Croquet Club is situated at 15 Brooklyn Drive (which is off Redwood Street, Blenheim)
The club has 6 lawns on which it plays golf croquet.
Golf croquet is a newer more inclusive game & everyone is involved as the balls are all hit sequentially according to colour.
It is a game that is played by all ages and skill levels, it is both cerebral and absorbing,(also not without cleaning out the opponents ball --so it can be brutal as well!) An easy game to learn but hard to master.
The Brooklyn games are invariably accompanied by laughter and good spirits.
The family-like nature of the club means that at least half the members are present on playing days. We finish the end of play with tea or coffee & a bikkie.
YOUR FIRST THREE VISITS ARE FREE (the club has an extensive selection of mallets for free use)
FLAT SOLED FOOT WARE MUST BE WORN! (trainers, sand shoes ect)
